Design a Custom BoardThis low-dropout linear regulator provides a fixed 3.3V output up to 500mA from a 2.5V to 16V input. It delivers <1% initial accuracy, 340mV dropout at full load, and 40μV output noise when utilizing the reference bypass pin. Integrated safeguards feature reverse polarity protection, current limiting, and thermal shutdown, while a logic-compatible enable pin reduces off-state current to near zero. Designed for battery-operated portable electronics, precision instrumentation, and SMPS post-regulation.
SOT-23-5 packages are extremely difficult to hand-solder due to 0.95mm pin pitch and tiny leads, making breadboarding impossible. A breakout board breaks out all five pins to standard 0.1" spacing, enabling reliable prototyping without micro-soldering skills or specialized equipment.
