This AC-input phototransistor optocoupler integrates inverse-parallel infrared LEDs with a single transistor output in an SOP package. It provides 3750 Vrms galvanic isolation and guarantees a minimum 20% current transfer ratio at ±1 mA forward current, with an 80 V maximum collector-emitter voltage. Designed for bidirectional signal detection, it is commonly deployed in AC line monitoring, programmable logic controller interfaces, telephony circuits, and unknown-polarity DC sensing.
