Design a Custom BoardQuad differential line driver IC designed for RS-422/RS-485 serial communications. Each of four channels provides high-speed differential output capability with 3-state control for multi-drop bus applications. Operates from single +5V supply with TTL/CMOS compatible inputs, suitable for industrial control, data acquisition, and network interface systems requiring robust noise immunity over twisted-pair cables.
The 1.27mm pitch on this 16-pin SOIC makes hand-soldering difficult without magnification and steady hands, while the narrow 3.9mm width prevents direct breadboard use. A breakout board converts the tight SMD pads to standard 0.1" headers, enabling rapid prototyping and reliable connections for serial communication, ADC, or RS-485 interface chips without rework risk.
